PhD Candidate Lu Ni Wins Gold Medal at the Academic Speech Competition

On April 21, the "Class of 1996 Alumni Cup" – the 10th "Academic Three-Minute" Speech Competition of the University of Science and Technology Beijing – concluded successfully at the main academic lecture hall. Lu Ni, a doctoral candidate from the National Center for Materials Service Safety(NCMS), won the gold medal with her solid theoretical foundation and outstanding presentation skills.

Titled "Good Teeth, Happy Eating – Implant Design for Different Bone Conditions," Lu Ni's presentation began with the widespread issue of tooth loss and systematically introduced a layered framework for implant design covering "bone quality – loading – implant response." She got high scores from the judges with concise and clear content and engaging presentation.
